Space Oddity - David Bowie

El genio británico de ojos bicolor lanzó este sencillo en el lejano 1969, y con él la cadena de televisión británica BBC retransmitió la llegada del hombre a la luna. Space Oddity se lanzó en junio, y en noviembre David Bowie lo incluyó en el álbum del mismo título. Por desgracia para la tierra y sus alrededores, el mayor Tom es un personaje ficticio. A principios de los años 80, el músico alemán Peter Schilling retomó las aventuras del mayor con una canción titulada Major Tom (Coming Home).
