Del álbum I'm Your Man del músico canadiense Leonard Cohen destacan varias canciones, y entre ellas, esta llamada a la rebeldía, First We Take Manhanttan. Un año antes, este tema de Cohen fue grabado por la cantante estadounidense Jennifer Warnes y aparece en su álbum Famous Blue Raincoat.
