A Change is Gonna Come es una canción del músico estadounidense Sam Cooke. La compuso tras el detonante de ser rechazado en un motel "sólo para blancos" en Louisiana. Previamente habían aceptado su reserva, pero al verle a él y a su mujer, le dijeron que no había habitaciones libres.
El sencillo fue editado en 1964 y el tema se convirtió en un imprescindible de las canciones protesta de la comunidad negra estadounidense.

Ha sido versionada, entre otros, por The Supremes, Otis Redding, The Righteous Brothers, Aretha Franklin, The 5th Dimension, The Band, Bobby Womack, George Benson, Solomon Bourke, Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, Terence Trent d'Arby, Al Green, The Fugees, Billy Ocean, Jeff Beck y John Legend.
